Honestidad y claridad, son dos de las principales características de Jorge Burruchaga. Con él charlamos a la salida del entrenamiento del Taladro para evaluar las distintas facetas del conjunto que dirige y que comienza a prepararse con vistas al próximo Clausura, que dará comienzo en los primeros días del mes de febrero.
-- Jorge ,¿Cómo evalúa la campaña desarrollada por Banfield en el Apertura?.
-- Desel el punto de vista matemático muy malo, pero desde lo futbolístico el equipo realizó un gran campeonato, siempr fuimos superiores a todos los rivales de turno. Sólo San Lorenzo nos dominó por espacio de treinta minutos. La falta de efectividad en el área rival nos privó de terminar con mayores posibilidades de luchar por cosas importantes.
-- ¿Eso fue un fracaso?.
-- No, para nada, yo quedé muy conforme con la actuación del equipo, y eso que aún restan dos fechas para cerrar el campeonato. Si llegamos a sumar 25 unidades, etariamos redondeando un buen torneo desde todo punto de vista. En este tiempo hemos podido conformar un equipo muy competitivo, que tiene grandes pretensiones para un futuro no my lejano. Sé que no terminamos aún de conformar al público de Banfield, pero no se puede calificar de fracaso el año que estamos llevando a cabo.
-- ¿ Está conforme con el nivel de sus dirigidos?.
-- Si, insisto con que hicieron un buen papel, aunque también soy conciente de que este equipo puede dar mucho más. La mayoría de los integrantes de plantel de Banfield son muy jóvenes, y todavía no han podido llegar a tocar su techo de rendimiento futbolístico. Aún deben crecer y progresar para consolidarse definitivamente.
-- ¿Cómo se preparann para las dos jornadas que restan, y como van a encarar el próximo Clausura?.
-- Estamos muy bien, ante Argentinos será un partido abierto técnicamente muy positivo, para hincha vaya a la cancha. Contra Tigre, espero poder tener un resultado positivo y robarle el campeonato a Cagna, porque a nadie le gusta que le den la vuelta olímpica en la cara. Lo importante es que el equipo pueda mantener una cierta regularidad futbolística para irnos encontrando en el nivel óptimo, y afrontar el próximo torneo, en donde debemos ser protagonistas desde el principio hasta el final.
-- ¿Usted es ioptimista en cuanto a las posibilidades de Banfield en el Clausura?.
-- Claro, por supuesto. Yo ya he tomado apuntes de las cosas que debemos mejorar y sé que no se volverán a cometer algunos errores por falta de experiencia. Pero estoy totalment convencido que Banfield está preparado para afrontar un campeonato y poder lucharlo hasta la última jornada y darle a su hinchada la mayor satisfacción de su historia, lo dije en la fiesta de los Taladros, y lo vuelvo a repetir...Este cuerpo técnico que encabezo, no se va a ir de Banfield, sin dejarle a la institución la mayor alegría de su vida deportiva.

No me gusta mucho hablar de otros colegas. Simplemente digo que a Burruchaga le compraron un formula uno, pero que todavía está en la línea de salida, porque no arrancó. Si a mí me compraban todo eso, y solamente tenía seis puntos en la tabla de posiciones , seguramente me estarían colgando de la torre del estadio.

Luego, con la evidencia irrefutable, surgieron términos como "error de comunicación" o "derechos honorarios" que no merecen tomarse en serio entre gente adulta. No se trata de discutir si los vericuetos del pase son más o menos beneficiosos (la solución hubiera sido copiar el contrato que firmamos por Bertolo como compradores) sino explicar por qué se mintió. La falacia no hace más que generar desconfianza y extenderla a otros actos de la conducción. Por cometer una irregularidad, negarla y mentir, Ramón Calderón, del Real Madrid, uno de los clubes más poderosos del mundo, debió dejar su cargo de presidente. Banfield no puede permitirse que este gravísimo hecho no arroje responsables.

Le decía que recurro a este medio porque he estado presente en la asamblea de referencia, he solicitado la palabra en forma civilizada, como debe ser, en forma reiterada, y no he tenido la suerte de que ni su Secretario ni usted me la concedieran hasta que Ud. dio por terminado el debate muy a pesar de que Ud. mismo puso a consideración la continuidad del mismo siendo esta aprobada por mayoríaEn la apertura de la Asamblea Ud. manifestó que cuando asumió se había encontrado con un KIOSCO y actualmente se sentía al frente de un SUPERMERCADO, Obviamente ese KIOSCO era nada más y nada menos, por lo menos para mí, que el CLUB A. BANFIELD, con sus virtudes y con sus muchos defectos, pero se trataba de mi Club. Club del cual soy socio vitalicio hace 20 años y cumplí más de 50 años de socio. En ese KIOSCO: Pusieron mucho esfuerzo y dedicación personas, que tuve el gusto de conocer, no se si Ud. tuvo esa oportunidad, como Don Florencio Sola (Lencho), Valentín Suárez, El (Gordo) Fani, Pedro Chasson, el Escribano Villar (que me sorprendió verlo aceptar todo lo que sucedió en esta asamblea dentro de Su Club) y muchos otros que seria muy tedioso nombrar y por eso me disculpo. En ese KIOSCO: _ No se aprobaban Balances sin un debate previo realizado con orden y con seriedad. _ No se llamaba a elecciones sin previamente llamar a Asamblea que aprobara no solo el Balance sino también la gestión porque si esa gestión no era aprobada se estaba a tiempo de hacerse responsable. _ Se respetaban los Estatutos llamando a Asamblea dentro de los plazos establecidos (90 días) _ No se demoraba 9 (nueve) meses en someter a consideración de los Socios un Balance duramente cuestionado por todos. _ No se presentaba a consideración de la Comisión Directiva un balance con un ERROR de aproximadamente $ 5.000.000.- Si existía una deuda de esa magnitud se informaba quien era el acreedor, no como ocurrió ayer en que todos los Socios nos retiramos sin saber a quien se le debe esa suma muy importante por cierto _ No se cometían ERRORES DE COMUNICACIÓN como los que se incurrieron en el caso del jugador L.Civelli. Ese KIOSCO: _ Pudo construir un ESTADIO que era motivo de orgullo para la época. _ Pudo construir una SEDE SOCIAL PROPIA Ese KIOSCO: _ No tuvo la suerte de contar con los Recursos millonarios en dólares por la venta de jugadores que hoy brinda un Mercado Internacional para TODOS los clubes del fútbol argentino. Sr. PRESIDENTE: Podría seguir reflexionando al respecto pero esto se haría muy extenso, eso si, si Ud. quiere lo podemos hacer juntos y personalmente de una manera civilizada como corresponde. Si le manifiesto que cuando tenga que alimentar a mis hijos con esa mercancía tan valiosa que se llama DIGNIDAD voy a dejarle de comprar a los SUPERMERCADOS y voy a requerir los servicios de un KIOSCO.
